‼️CUT OF THE WEEK‼️:
🐷Pork Tenderloin🐷
🐖Pork tenderloin is one of the most tender cuts of a pig, It comes from a muscle that runs along the pig’s backbone, underneath the loin. Because this muscle doesn’t do a lot of work, it stays naturally tender and doesn’t develop the tough connective tissue you find in harder working cuts.
🐷Pork tenderloin has a mild, slightly sweet pork flavor. Since it’s so lean and tender, it works really well with marinades, dry rubs, glazes, and sauces🥫
It’s particularly good with flavors like:
* 🍎 Apple & maple
* 🍑 Peach BBQ
* 🍯 Honey garlic
* 🌿 Garlic & herbs
* 🌶️ Chipotle
* 🍋 Lemon & rosemary
* 🧄 Garlic butter
🔥 How Do You Cook It?
Because tenderloin is so lean, it can become dry if cooked too long‼️
A great method is:
1. Season or marinate the tenderloin.
2. Sear it in a hot pan to develop a browned crust.
3. Finish it in the oven at around 400°F.
4. Cook until the center reaches 145°F.
5. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
That gives you a juicy, tender center while still getting a nice crust on the outside😍
