Sorry to disappear on y'all!
I had a pinched nerve in my low back that had me down for the count most of the week. If you've had those before you know how they just kind of take all your brain waves. 😵‍💫

Feeling a bit better by now though - and don't worry we still managed to get all the planting done, so no market interruptions! 🌱

Wednesday was my birthday, last years boots are cracked, and the chicken pens are getting mucky from all the rain we've had. So I got myself a present.

How cute are these new boots? 😁😍

I don't think the chickens care, but if they did I think they'd totally approve. 😎

Have you heard about our amazing RAFFLE we’ll have set up at Gainesville Veg Fest 👀?

In addition to a dozen incredible gift bundles you can win from local businesses we love (plz see our last post!), Alachua County Farmers Market - 441 Market supports Veg Fest and has just donated $200 worth of gift certificates for the farmer’s market to our raffle😱!!!! These can be used with ANY of their regular vendors that set up weekly every Saturday from 8:30-noon at San Felasco Tech City. Their vendors sell literally everything that is home grown or made by hand! (Please note, this market is not a fully vegan market, however most of their vendors have vegan-friendly goods for you to enjoy, including several of our Vegfest vendors that set up there regularly).

We have over 14 local businesses that have donated incredible prizes to the raffle, and 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales will be given to our partnering animal non-profits including Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary Ⓥ, WholeLottaLuv Pet Collective, Orange Heights Animal Rehoming, Gainesville Rabbit Rescue & sage_sanctuary_Fl ! Bring some extra CASH on Sunday for purchasing raffle tickets. The raffle table will be located next to Samm Wehman Art at the event - 9/13, 11am-5pm at Bo Diddley Plaza, Gainesville, FL!
