I’m absolutely ecstatic today — after months of hard work, countless tweaks, and more than a few failed attempts, we’ve finally done it…

🍄 Introducing the Nameko Mushroom! 🍄

This beautiful amber-colored mushroom is now officially growing in our greenhouse, and we couldn't be more thrilled to bring it to our community.

Nameko (Pholiota nameko) is a popular mushroom in Japanese cuisine, known for its slightly nutty flavor, silky texture, and natural glaze when cooked. It adds a gorgeous richness to soups, stir-fries, miso, hot pot, and noodle dishes — and yes, it loves being part of a good ramen bowl.

✅ Health Benefits:
– Rich in antioxidants
– Supports immune health
– Contains polysaccharides that may help reduce inflammation
– Low-calorie, high-fiber, and packed with B vitamins

It’s got a slightly slippery texture (in the best way!), similar to okra or natto, and is especially prized for that signature umami boost.
