It was a long journy that established this family business and brought it to life. It was tough, challenging and frustrating at times but just like a woman giving birth and then forgets (in most cases) so she can do it again, we were able to disconnect from all the hardship as soon as the market day started, surrounded by love of this beautiful community.

Hummus King & Lady Falafel Last 7 Weeks in Albuquerque NM
We want to share with you all, that we will be leaving New Mexico in September 2023. Our family business was born in Albuquerque, NM. From the start, we received endless love from everyone who tried our food acknowledging and appreciating that we never settle on average and our food is always fresh and made from scratch with hard work put into it.

🚀 We are embarking on a new adventure in our personal lives and our Hummus King & Lady Falafel business will follow us, hoping it will grow and develop into a great food community.

🎭 We are excited to announce these news and yet very sad to leave you, our awesome community, here in NM. We will miss our Saturdays Albuquerque Downtown Growers' Market and Sundays Rail Yards Market ABQ.

With that being said, we are still here waiting to see your smiles and good energies every weekend through September 10th.

Meet Liz ✨ a longtime friend of the market!

Liz, has been a Downtown Growers’ Market guest for over 20 years. She comes every Saturday by bus, and arrives bright and early, always with a smile on her face.

🛍️ Last Saturday, Liz brought extra bags for guest who forgot their reusable bags at home! She gave them to folks who had too much to carry and could use a hand.

⏰Liz gets to the market early to get the best produce picks for her and her neighbors.

🥰We asked her if we could share her story with you all and she happily said yes. Help us thank Liz for the gifts she shares with our market community and her neighbors 💗
