The Popcorn Cannery Locally popped in Albuquerque, NM, at the Popcorn Cannery, we pop the biggest, best popcorn and then add any of an assortment of delectable flavors!

Established in 1981. George Buffett (1928-2012) started The Popcorn Cannery in 1981 after popping and making corn in his candy business, Buffett's Candies. The popcorn piece out grew the walls of the candy store so he found a location with a huge kitchen to support a 6 head popping line including a 2-story hopper. The Popcorn Cannery expanded the number of flavors it carried (now at 20 flavors) an

d still produces all of the corn products for Buffett's Candies today. It also wholesales a few products to grocery stores around New Mexico.
