You can find our fresh baked authentic Sourdough Breads every week at Peppa & Poppy's Market and the Alexandria, MN Farmers Market from May through October. (See below) While you’re picking up bread at Peppa & Poppy's, be sure to step inside the charming wooden shed for farm-fresh eggs, homemade jellies and jams, and locally produced honey and maple syrup. As spring gives way to summer, Emily will also offer fresh asparagus and rhubarb followed by sweet strawberries, garden vegetables, and juicy sweet corn as each comes into season.

ABOUT US. We are passionate about all things ‘organic’ that lead to better health and life. Organic farming, whole foods, flowers and traditionally made sourdough breads. In today’s modern fast-paced, fast-food world, going back to the traditional ‘old ways’ seems like a really good idea especially regarding the foods we eat.
OUR BREADS. We are a registered State of MN Cottage Food Producer and take our baking seriously. Much time and energy has been invested in developing and handcrafting the best breads possible for our family and customers. All of our breads are made from scratch in our home and are naturally leavened with our organic sourdough 'Starter'. We use only the highest quality non-GMO, unenriched, unbromated, certified organic flours and the freshest organic ingredients available whenever possible to bake our premium loaves. Our dough is traditionally fermented before it is baked to give it the signature tangy sourdough flavor and to help break down the gluten making it easy to digest. Many people who are gluten sensitive are able to eat authentic sourdough breads. It is perfect for those who love fresh baked healthy breads and health-conscious alternatives.
LOCALLY GROWN. Every loaf of our sourdough bread has locally grown, fresh-milled, non-GMO, certified organic flour(s) in it from Sunset Creek Farm near Albany, MN, who has been growing certified organic grains for almost a decade.
