Walmart Market in Alexandria presents the $1,000 Helen Walton Grant to the Lauren Vaughn Memorial Foundation.
The Lauren Vaughn Foundation hosts the annual LV5k walk/run event, which honors Lauren's life and supports the Lauren Vaughn memorial scholarship at Northwestern State University's Cenla campus for students and the accelerated BSM program. Established in January of 2024, the foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of drunk and impaired driving, a mission driven by the tragic loss of Lauren Vaughn.
