Good morning,
The stand is open have 58 Federal Street in Alfred. There are just a couple bouquets out there. Until the peonies start to bloom there will just be a few bouquets here and there. This is the time of sparse flowers for me here at Federal Hill farm. I am working on building up my flowers that bloom at this time. There's also a couple dried wreaths out there. Good morning everyone,
There are just a few bouquets on the stand today. There's some white lilies, white ranunculus pink and purple flocks, purple anemones, and purple and white irises. These are all on only priced at $15 each. I would just like to sell them today. So come on by and grab yourself a bouquet. The address is 58 Federal Street in Alfred Maine. Just a note to let you know that we are waiting on the next batch of blooms. I have filler flowers blooming, but no focals as of right now. I am planting and seeding the beds, so I will show that for now. Enjoy your holiday weekend.

Good morning, I went around the garden to see how things are doing and I'd like to share some pictures with you. This is what we have growing so far and we're going to do a lot of planting this weekend. Our first round of sunflowers have sprouted that's the first picture with the little tiny plants. And then we have so many other things a lot of stuff for drying we're growing wheat, quite a bit of status in blue white and mix colors, we have fever few, Sweet Annie, larkspur and delphiniums, comfrey, snapdragons, and various colors of alliums. The bleeding heart bushes are starting to bloom beautifully and so are my lilac bushes. I'm starting to see a few buds on the irises. I have a lot of peony bushes, my older ones have really good buds on them. Most of those are Sarah Bernhardt. And then I have a big section of the field with mixed reds and mixed whites that are now in their second year. We may get a few off them this year but really we'll try to save them for next year. There's a lot of bee bomb coming in, and two big patches of oregano. We have garlic growing and lots of chives and then we have a few Egyptian walking onions. Going out soon is gomphrena, strawflowers, tomatoes and peppers, we have a little bit of pink dandelions growing, mullein, sage and a bunch of other herbs. So there's a lot going on here you can meander through the pictures you might be able to identify some of the things. This weekend will be putting out direct sow seeds. More sunflower seeds which we plant in successions, we're going to work on our zinnia bed, get some beans and cucumbers and squash seeds in the ground. Good morning, the flower stand is open inside the barn today. Please access through the side door, we have the front door closed so that the flowers can stay cool. There are only a few bouquets out today due to the heat. I'm thinking we're going to have flowers at least until Friday, maybe through the weekend. At this point these are our flowers that have been stored in the cooler. This is the only way to keep them from blowing out. You will see that in the beds as you come in. Heat makes flowers die much faster. So coming to a place like ours where we can put them in a cooler, and have them in a cool place for you is better than just getting them off a stand that has them out in the heat all day. We are still doing pay what you can. We can rarely do this, but we had too many tulips left for mother's Day and they're too beautiful to waste. Update, instead of half price I'm going to do pay what you can. So please come and get these flowers so they can be enjoyed. I just have too many, and I would like people to enjoy them. So kind of like by donation you know, a little something and at least they go somewhere. Please return the vases or bring your own. Thank you!

Good morning everyone! Well the start to a new week and I want to give you an update of what is going on. We still have tulips in the cooler that I can sell. I will be doing half price until they are gone. We have a medium amount of narcissus or daffodils. We will be picking what's left today. So I'm thinking this week will be the last week for tulips, and then I'm going to have a gap where I won't have any flowers for a hot minute. I do think that peonies and perennials will be the next to come. I'm thinking at least 3 weeks if not more. Everything will be in the barn so that they stay cool and will last for you. Good morning, the stand is open today inside the barn. The front door is closed because it's going to be very hot and I want it to stay cool for the flowers. You can enter through the side door, which slides back. Tulips are still half price of what is on the vase, and in most cases they are overstuffed so you're paying less than a dollar per stem. Daffodils are still three for a dollar. We accept cash, paypal, and venmo at the stand. We will close around 2:00 p.m. this afternoon. You can use a gift card just lke cash on any of our products or workshops.

SPECIAL SALE! Tomorrow, Saturday, 5/16/2026, we will be open from 11 am until 2 pm, or until gone if that happens before 2 pm., for u-pick on what is left of our tulips that are still in our 2 beds that we don't have room for in our cooler. Some are smaller, some will be more open than others so the cost will be $1.00 each, with a $10.00 minimum. We still have regular tulips, double tulips, fringe tulips, and a few parrots. These Tulips usually sell for atleast $2.00 each WHOLESALE. You are welcome to take the bulbs as well for any that you buy as we do not use them year after year. Vases will not be avalible for these, we do have jars for free though. We willl also have tulips arranged in vases at 1/2 price like we have been doing all week.
