Always save the best for last? The rain the other day was a great thing for our production farm, not as great for the sweet corn 🌽 farm 😂. It laid what was left of the patch down so today was a old school picking day. We did get enough picked to head down to Sedalia Area Farmers' Market this afternoon from 3-6 for our last market of the year.

Well it's here. The end of the season. We will be closing up the stand tomorrow (Thursday Aug 5th) for the season.

We want to thank everyone who came out to the stand and helped support us. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

We also want to thank the other businesses that helped to make this possible.

As of right now we're saving some of the last patch to be able to attend Sedalia Area Farmers' Market on Friday for one last market. It won't be a large load but we will hopefully have enough to satisfy everyone's last craving for the sweetest corn in the county.

Starting Monday we'll be filling bulk orders for sweet corn out of our last patch of the year! If the math holds up we should have around 100 dozen available.

We ask that you let us know at least the night before you want to pickup by 8pm to ensure we have enough to fill your order.

Pricing is as follows:
5-9 dozen = $6 a dozen
10+ dozen = $5 a dozen

We will be at Sedalia Area Farmers' Market on Tuesday and possibly Friday if the patch will hold that long. So pick up can happen there also.

That's the fabled last patch I've been talking about for about the last week. As long as it's ready we'll start picking on it tomorrow. That being said that means we have roughly 300 to 350 dozen ears in there. I believe I have about 200 dozen unspoken for at the moment. Reach out and get your orders in. You can also pick up orders at Sedalia Area Farmers' Market on Tuesdays and Fridays for our more southern customers.

Also we should be restocked on watermelon 🍉 and cantaloupe 🍈 by midmorning today.

Have a good load heading down to Sedalia Area Farmers' Market this afternoon. Starting at 3pm until sold out.

We'll also be restocking watermelon 🍉 and cantaloupe 🍈 tomorrow afternoon/evening most likely.

We still have tomatoes 🍅, onions 🧅, and bell peppers 🫑 in the stand today along with our delicious Ambrosia sweet corn 🌽.

Judging by the way the patch looks we should have corn 🌽 through next week but that is going to just about be it so get your orders in for canning to be able to enjoy it through the winter!

Another scorcher today but we still have cantaloupe 🍈, watermelon 🍉, tomatoes 🍅, onions 🧅, and bell peppers 🫑 ready in the stand. We also started picking on our 2nd to last patch of the year so we're nearing the end. We should have a week to maybe 10 days left in the year. Don't miss out!

Well as they say " If it was easy then everyone would do it." Boy if that hasn't described the last 2 mornings of picking. With getting up in the middle of the night to "beat the rain" that never really came and then having a picker breakdown this morning we have had to be adaptable. Luckily the kids and wife came out with minimal grumbling to help get the picking done today.

Also by this afternoon we should have cantaloupe 🍈, watermelon 🍉, and some tomatoes 🍅!
