Hi - I'm Jen Bickford signing off for the last time today as the person posting all of our social media reels, photos and info. After 22 years at Three Rivers, I am moving on to a new adventure in the nonprofit world, up in Crested Butte. I wanted to thank all of you customers, guests, employees, partners and so many lifelong friends I've made along the way! Three Rivers and Almont has been my home for nearly every major milestone in my life and it's where I raised my son (what a great place for him to grow up!). I started in 2004 as a summer manager in our Crested Butte store, Alpine Outside. At the end of that summer, Mark Schumacher asked me to come and manage his resort. I served as General Manager for over 20 years and had the privilege of working with the Schumacher family to really grow these businesses to a whole new level. I watched "the boys," Luke and Dirk, grow up and they are now taking over all of the operations. It's time for the next generation to shine and they're going to be great! Thank you Mark, Mary Jo, Luke and Dirk (and Sarah from afar) and thanks to all of you for continuing to make Three Rivers Resort, Three Rivers Smokehouse and Three Rivers Outfitting such a special place.

Here we go! The seasonal passes are opening up so if you're coming to see us this holiday weekend, you will have multiple ways to get here. We still have cabins and RV sites available. The Smokehouse will be open fully. We're rafting and fishing every day. And the weather forecast looks fantastic. Spend your long weekend in Almont!

Oh yeah! It's our favorite time of year - BBQ TIME! Thursday is a limited opening primarily for Cottonwood Classic cycling participants and Friday we open fully for the season starting with breakfast and Camp 4 coffee at 7 am!

We've got water and we're rafting the Taylor River! Yahoo. Call us to reserve your trip today. We're rafting as usual through mid-August. We are not like other rivers in Colorado that get devastated by drought conditions. We have steady releases from the Taylor Dam/Reservoir so it's game on. Paddle ON!!
