Welcome to the official page for Boney’s Market in Alpine. We’re excited to bring this market to life and share the journey with you.
The project is moving forward and we’re working on it every week. While it may not look like much is happening from the outside, there’s a lot going on behind the scenes. Turning a former drug store into a full grocery store requires a surprising amount of engineering, permitting, utility upgrades, and county approvals before construction can really take off.
We’re currently working through those steps and pushing as hard as we can to keep things moving.
When we open, Boney’s Market will be a full-service neighborhood grocery store with a butcher shop, fresh produce, prepared foods, local products, and a team focused on good old-fashioned customer service.
Our original goal was to open sooner, but based on where things stand today, we’re now expecting an early to mid-2027 opening.
We know that’s not the answer everyone wants to hear, but we’d rather be transparent than make promises we can’t keep.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, asked questions, and supported the project. We’re excited to bring something special to Alpine and we’ll continue sharing updates along the way.
