Every Saturday (8am-Noon) from Mother's Day weekend through mid-October, held in the parking lot at the corner of Landmarks Blvd. & Henry St. ~ find fresh produce, craft items, breakfast & much more! At the Alton Farmers' & Artisans' Market you'll find an abundance of delicious fresh produce, baked goods, plants & flowers, handmade soaps, jewelry, artwork, pottery & much more. We have a special ac

tivity happening every Saturday of our 24-week season, including live music, artist demos, kids activities and more. Any products that are homegrown within a 50-mile radius or handmade by the vendors are welcome to be sold. Full details and a vendor registration form can be found at:

Good morning! 🌅 We're not saying you should come down to the market this morning and make breakfast out of the incredible selection of tasty baked goods plus a cup of hot coffee or an iced latte... but we're not saying you shouldn't, either. 😇

The Alton Farmers' & Artisans' Market runs from 8am-Noon every single Saturday through Oct 17th, rain 🌧 or shine 🌞 at the corner of Landmarks Blvd and Henry Street (look for the flags!) in Downtown Alton. Yes, parking gets crazy so come early or park up on Broadway and cross the pedestrian bridge to find us (then stop into the amazing brick and mortar businesses up there on your way back to the car!) There's 150+ booths most weeks offering everything from farm fresh eggs to home grown veggies, to hand made soaps, and so much more!

Tonight is the OPENING NIGHT of our other market, Night Market on Broadway! Similar vibes to the Farmers' & Artisans' Market but with added hip thrift vendors plus free live music from 7-10pm! This market happens every Thursday in June and July in the green space at 203 W. 3rd Street next to Catdaddy's, along Sugar Alley, and next to Jacoby Arts Center and Mooneyham Art on State Street.

Speaking of LIVE MUSIC, join us Saturday from 8am-12pm for the Alton Farmers' and Artisans' Market and while you're shopping, enjoy the beautiful music of Ken & Linda! Last week we hosted another banger of a week with 147 vendor booths with a variety of Farmers, Artisans, Hot Food, Coffee, Fresh Flowers, Live Plants, and so much more. You'll have to stop by and see it for yourself at the corner of Landmarks Blvd and Henry Street in beautiful Downtown Alton, Illinois. RAIN OR SHINE 🌧☀ (we cancel for the lightning though⚡)

Opening day was so much fun and we can't wait to do it again 23 more Saturdays in a row! Make sure to mark your calendar for any activities you don't want to miss. Huge shout out to our sponsors, their generous support helps the market and Downtown Alton as a whole to thrive!

THIS SATURDAY is opening day! Check out our vendor map to guide your trip; you can also pick up a hard copy at the info booth. IDOT has agreed to increase the amount of time of the traffic light in order to allow more cars to pass through per cycle! They indicated that this will be most effective if everyone uses the EXIT that is marked on the map instead of trying to pull out closer to the railroad tracks. Thanks for your cooperation :)

The countdown to our 2026 season opening is ON. Last year on opening day, we blew our vendor record out of the water with 185 booths! This year's registration is a mix of old favorites we are excited to see and newbies we can't wait to try. Here's a completely not exhaustive list of items you might be able to find on May 9th!

Honey, freeze dried candy, sour dough goodies, plant starts, eggs, tote bags, cheese, soy wax candles, insect repellent, bbq rubs and hot sauces, hand knit items, bath products, hand crafted jewelry, metal art, fresh squeezed lemonades, hot coffee, iced lattes, children's clothing, crafted wooden utensils, fresh salsa, grass fed beef, natural dog treats, suncatchers, wood art, homemade laundry soaps....

Oh yeah, and our farmers will be there with their early season veggies - straight from the farm to your tummy. We can't wait to see you!

ONE WEEK AWAY! Can you guys believe it? Our 24 week season starts one week from today. Join us for early season veggies, all your favorite baked goodies, delicious coffee and a hot breakfast, hand made artisan crafts, soaps, adornments... there's so much to discover down at the market! Our first FREE community activity for the 2026 season is with Jacoby Arts Center - come on down and make a beautiful card for your MOM for Mother's Day!

Every winter we get our vendors together to talk about the upcoming season, and the time is upon is!

Please join us on Sat, February 7th at 11:30am on the ground floor of the Riverbender building located at 200 W. 3rd Street in Downtown Alton - the facility is now called The Teller Room 1925. Here you can receive general info, ask questions, and share ideas on activities, advertising, etc.

This meeting is not mandatory in order to participate. If you are already on our email list you will be sent all of the information needed to register in March. If you would like to be added, please email [email protected] and use the subject line “Vendor email list”

We are looking forward to opening day on Sat, May 9th ~ always Mother’s Day weekend!
