Today is Earth Day

Let us pause for just ten seconds and allow the good times we have ALL had in nature- observing a beautiful bird or animal swoop or scamper across near or far while taking a hike on trail; running off the dock into a large pond; passing on the tradition to your child as they purchase their first license to hunt or fish; feeling your dry, sun-kissed skin while watching the gorgeous setting of the sun into the sea; reading “TODAY’S CATCH” at your favorite restaurant makes your mouth water; taking in the vivid view from the treehouse you and your friends built in the woods; the happiness having a picnic with your family or a date at park; watching your spouse, the relieved farmer, breath- after a much needed rainstorm; swiftly sliding down a sand dune; the CRRRUNCH your boots make trudging through the snow; enjoying a freshly picked fruit; appreciation of competing in a triathlon throughout the breathtaking mountains; non-stop laughter riding down the crystal clear river with a group; swinging on a vine over a twisting-turning stream; holding hands taking a stroll along the seashore; the first run of the ski/board SEASON; standing in the rainfall- in the distance A HUGE RAINBOW; capturing the picture perfect sunrise on a morning walk; the crisp, clear, bold colors during Autumn’s peak; spotting colorful flowers blooming in a front yard; the beautiful aftermath from a Winter’s storm; making a wish viewing a shooting star- on a moonlit night; the white, puffy clouds swiftly moving across the bright-blue skies bringing a smile to your face.

These are a fraction of our planet’s gifts and tools to us. Let us ALWAYS value and appreciate our Earth.

Truly conjure never having experienced any of these. Let us love and respect our Earth!
