Going to be reducing my flock again.

*I only have the velveteen lop available. Everything else has either been claimed or is pending *

I have 7 laying hens available 💲1️⃣0️⃣ each - pending pickup

I have 6 chicks available (1 week old today) 💲3️⃣ each - picked up

I have 2 large outside rabbits (not sure of the breed). Male is probably close to 3 yrs old and the female is close to 2 years old. Asking 💲2️⃣0️⃣ each or 💲3️⃣5️⃣ for the pair. - picked up

Also 1 Chocolate Velveteen Lop Rabbit, male About 2 years old. 💲4️⃣0️⃣

The chickens are all Barnyard Mix.

Located in Alum Creek WV. Can transport and meet with the baby chicks and/or the rabbits. You will have to come to me for the laying hens.

23 days ago we started with 22 eggs 🥚.

14 days ago and we dropped to 20 eggs.

4 days ago we dropped to 15 eggs and went into lock down.

Today we moved 11 baby chicks 🐣 into their new home (well for the next 4-5 weeks).

They are a Barnyard Mix. We definitely have a couple Cinnamon Queens. And a few that could be mixed with Black Australorp, CooCoo Maran or Mystic Onyx. In the next 6 weeks we will see their feathers start to emerge as well as their personalities.

This was my last batch of fertilized eggs from my own hens. So this batch of chicks is special to me. Fingers crossed 🤞 for mostly hens, a roo or two would be ok.

Candy in the freeze dryer. I think this the first batch in 2026. Lol

Chicks are hatching this weekend. We had 1 "Early Bird" lol. Manifesting that it is going to be a hen and her name will be Cranberry (Ivy named her). There is still 14 other eggs in the incubator, 4 are questionable, but the rest should hatch. And 4 eggs have pips so they will probably zip and hatch by tomorrow afternoon.

And that reminds me since I've got chicks hatching...I should probably get the brooder out from under the house. Ya know the one we put under there maybe 2 months ago. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

*Update...All roosters and 95% of my total flock is gone. As in I ONLY have like 10 hens left. Period.

I will have chicks for sale after April. If y'all want any.

Until then I'm taking a break. Mentally, physically and financially. Chickens are not cheap. Lol

I'm selling a bunch of laying hens! And I need to get rid of a WHOLE bunch of roosters.

Hens are 💲1️⃣0️⃣ each. They are between 1 year and 3 years. They all lay great eggs!

Roosters are 💲0️⃣ each. Yup. You read that right.

Down sizing for now and I'll be hatching new chicks this summer.

Is there any interest in chocolate covered strawberries 🍓 or heart shaped brownies ❤️?

I could do deliveries Friday and also Saturday.

Strawberries would be 6 for $10 and Brownies would be $4 each or 2 for $6.

New nesting pads, fresh grit and some pretty eggs.
That has been our "big" chicken chores on this frigid day. 🥶

This coming Spring there will be a coop overhaul for the big coop. But that will definitely be a job for more than one person on a much warmer day.

And the old nesting pads go into our burn barrel to be turned into ash for the chickens dust bath. Circle of life lol
