Alva Farmers Market on Flynn will be held in the parking lot of the Woods County Courthouse on Flynn Street every Saturday from 7:30 am to noon or until sold out.

My tomatoes are ugly, don't know how else to say it but, they are making awesome salsa, spaghetti sauce and more. Crazy Days. I will have a few jars as well as candied jalapenos.

It's been a weird tomato year for us.

Stuffed peppers, grilled, sliced peppers,hot peppers....peppers can be frozen and used in stir fries, fajitas, stews and more.

Summer gardens are going to end but the flavors don't have to. A little prep and you have the goodness all winter.

Cucumbers are in abundance at the Alva Farmers Market on Flynn. Slice and eat or pickle. Cucumbers are very healthy.

Lots of okra and Zucchini at the Alva Farmers Market on Flynn .

Zucchini lemon cake, fried zucchini, grilled zucchini, zucchini bread and more.

Fried okra, grilled okra , picked okra, stewed okra and more.

Both okra and zucchini freeze well for a fresh taste all winter.

Crazy Days market - Saturday, July 18th - 7:30- noon. Let's make it a crazy good time!
Nam & Pops will have a free bounce house water combo next to the market. Bring the kids down for some free bouncing fun while you shop for vegies, baked goods and cool crafts! Take a stroll and shop all of Alvas awesome downtown businesses. It's going to be a great day to be in Alva.

Zucchini, squash, beautiful slicing cucumbers, okra, beans, bell peppers, pablano peppers, jalapeño peppers, some not pretty tomatoes. It will be at the Alva Farmers Market on Flynn 5-7.

Some canned items, BBQ sauce, cowboy candy, jellies and baked items I'm hearing about.

It's going to be a great evening at the market.
