SILT is a statewide 501(c)3 non-partisan non-profit dedicated to permanently protecting Iowa's farmland for sustainable food farming and creating land access opportunities for new and beginning farmers.

Mission: To secure, preserve and steward threatened farmland, ensuring that future generations of farmers have access to Iowa land to produce healthy food in the most sustainable ways possible.
