What is different about this pork? Notice the nice red color of the meat. The color is a sign of nutrient density (flavor!!) from natural foraging in large wooded and grass paddocks with only excess grassfed milk and organic grain supplementation.
The nice fat marbling and cap due to heritage breeds is not only delicious but it is packed with vitamin D and other essential nutrients that you will not find in abundance in conventional pork.
As well, you will not find chemical toxins stored in the fat other then possible environmental sources that are out of our control. Toxins are stored by pigs, humans, etc in fat. Did you know, the living body does not want to deal with foreign toxins in the diet and will set aside in excess fat. When you eat calorie rich fat from healthy clean animals your body will use it more efficiently as an energy source. It will not try to store aside in major excess to deal with later.
