The beauty bush and dogwood are in full bloom this week out at our Little Pond Flower Farm! If you like pink, you’re in luck. And the pink sky…. the reward for getting up early to go to the Amherst Farmers' Market every Saturday morning. Hope to see you out there tomorrow as we'll be bringing color in abundance!

As excited new members at the Amherst Farmers' Market, Rabbit Run Farm, LLC., will have our first big harvest of Beets and Spinach this week available for you! Our Beets have gorgeous tops that you can cook like Swiss Chard. Think of it as a bonus bunch of greens! We will also have all of our usual spring veggies like Spring Mix, Arugula and Radishes. See you Saturday!

Did you know, Ain't Your Average B.... at the Amherst Farmers' Market each Saturday, not only has the best treats for your best furry friends, but we also have duck and quail eggs?!? Our duck and quail eggs come from our farm and are absolutely delicious. Come stop by our booth to learn about our favorite ways to prepare duck and quail eggs as you pick up some treats for your dogs and cats!

Baker's Lane Biscotti, LLC will be at the Amherst Farmers' Market tomorrow with our fresh-made pizzelle. If you have ever made pizzelle before, you know it may be difficult to find a container in which to store them, as they are larger (and more delicate) than your standard cookie. Growing up, when we made them for the holidays and other family gatherings, we
would store them in a stock pot. It was large so we could fit 3 stacks. It kept them fresh and we would store it our pantry.
Visiting my dad recently, I found the stock pot! It brought back those wonderful memories, so I just had to share it. It's the simple things.

I will have pizzelle, along with your favorite biscotti, this Saturday at the Amherst Farmers' Market! Come out, have some great food and fun while supporting local businesses!
