EXCELLENT RARE AKAI GX-270D-SS 4 Channel-QUADRO-Auto Reverse Reel to Reel CLEAN New in Box
The unit is in excellent cosmetic condition. Very very beautiful. See photos for details!!!

It is super clean inside and out. 9/10 cosmetically. No dust. There are only a few tiny, barely noticeable hairline marks on the aluminum front and a small discoloured spot under the left VU meter. Other than that, it is in close-to-new condition. The pinch roller is in as-new condition. The unit has very low hours. It works perfectly mechanically, but there are some sound issues. In the source position low level background noise is present at the right channel. In the tape position, the left channel produces the same type of low level background noise through the phonogram 🎶. This is commonly caused by transistor failure, a well-known and easily fixable issue for these units. The wooden cabinet is in perfect, as-new condition, making it ideal for enthusiasts who want to restore the audio board's electronics and enjoy a device that looks almost brand new.

The listing is for reel to reel deck unit and one "gold" aluminum 7 inch take up reel.
