Rain poured down all afternoon but that didn’t stop us! We were so happy that our amazing vendors still showed up, making sure our customers could shop for fresh, locally grown produce despite the weather.

The star of the day? 🥟 Our delicious vegetarian samosas ! They quickly became the favorite hot meal at the market and were the perfect comfort food on such a rainy day.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our farmers and small businesses. Rain or shine, our community continues to show up for one another, and we couldn’t be more grateful ❤️

🌽🥦Farm Updates🥦🌽

On this page, we want to do more than just show you fresh vegetables.
We want to give you a behind-the-scenes look at what life on the farm is really like our daily work, the people who make it all happen, and the little moments that make this place so special☺️

This week, our team made a friendly bet, and this morning the winner treated everyone to homemade Afghan rice! 🍚 For many of us, it was our first time trying it, and it was absolutely delicious. One of the best parts of working together is learning about each other’s cultures and sharing food, laughter, and stories.

Of course, we also spent the day harvesting fresh vegetables and preparing everything for tomorrow’s market. Every head of cabbage, every bunch of greens, and every vegetable you see is grown with care, hard work, and a team that truly enjoys what we do.

Our mission is to empower refugee- and immigrant-owned food businesses by creating opportunities through farming, entrepreneurship, and community connections. Every purchase made at our market helps support local families, small businesses, and a stronger local food system.

In addition to our weekly market, Grow North offers a selection of specialty products inspired by cultures from around the world. Our shelves feature handcrafted spice blends, herbal teas, cookbooks, specialty vinegars, and other unique items that reflect the traditions and talents of our community. Every purchase directly supports refugee- and immigrant-owned businesses while bringing new flavors and stories into your home.
