Here we gooooo into 2026!! First day back to really get with it at the farm after the holiday’s. Mind and body relaxed and focused. We appreciate all the love and support over the years and especially the encouragement to keep diversifying The Hungry Locavore project. The farm is my lab, love, mental and physical labor and most importantly my creativity building paradise. Lots of space and time to think longer visions into deeper local food systems. 2026 has already had some amazing surprises over the past few days…. The deeper the roots the deeper the culture. Wishing you all the best in 2026!

Just want to say THANK YOU to the community that supports this hyperlocal food project. The effort and turn out for the 100th menu was incredible and many of you shared some very touching comments about the project with me that really hit hard. This non traditional model is still a beautiful unchained beast for all the right reasons and the braided intricacies that have woven the community together for a LOCAL and sustainable food system have taught me so much. Forever grateful

Happy New Year and cheers to a prosperous 2025 to everyone!! We are so grateful for our local foodies and food community from the farmers to the chefs and the patrons that make this circular hyperlocal food system come together each week. We did some amazing things in 2024 working on the farms, with the chefs in their kitchens and with the business in general. None of this would have ever been possible without the support of our community. This year we spread out over 100k back into our community, moved the business to joined the Sustainable Food Business Coalition, multiple interviews with magazines and a NPR Stateside radio session. This project is not about me or my family, it’s about doing the right thing and sourcing local food from regenerative farms and also doubling down on farm to table food, trapping finances in our local circular economy and more importantly offering a space for education through our informative newsletters about the people that bring all this clean, healthy food to our tables. We have many goals for 2025, many more stories to tell about the farms and the chefs we continue to meet and feature and a serious target to try and eliminate one time use plastic and much much more do the right things coming in 2025. From our family to yours we hope all the best in the New Year!!!

It’s been a minute!!! Wrapping up the farming season and ramping up for the winter has been keeping me crazy busy! Just wanted to share a note of gratitude to you the patrons for your continued support of all things local food. We appreciate you all and the kind words of encouragement you share with me when you pick up your boxes or comment on the stories and posts. Still lots to come and a few new hand out spots are getting ready to open to make it even easier and more convenient for you to support our local farms and prepared food businesses. Lastly, I’d like to Thank all the farmers and chefs for sharing your stories and food with me and the broader community. Together we all grow and support each other’s businesses. It’s a beautiful thing and I am grateful to represent this ride of attrition, community building and collaborating. (Pic is last week’s Bunch of Brunch Box)
