Change for our Community gives shoppers the option to round up their purchase to help support local organizations. Each month a different organization is featured as the recipient, and 100% of all donations collected go to that specific organization.

The Change for our Community program values organizations that share our commitment to health, well being, sustainability and education of our community. By creating a partnership with our customers we work together to bring financial support to these organizations.

Hello Co-op friends!
My name is Boyce- I’m the new Outreach and Marketing Coordinator here at People’s Food Co-op of Ann Arbor!

A little bit about me-
I graduated from University of Michigan’s Stamps School of Art and design with a bachelor’s in Fine Arts in 2017, and started my first job out of college at PFC shortly after. For the last 7 years, I’ve been working part-time in the restaurant industry while maintaining my art practice, and selling work at various art markets in the metro Detroit area. I’m a printmaker and Textile artist, and my work is centered around maintaining a low-no-waste and environmentally friendly practice through the use of scrap and recycled materials. Also trained as an End of Life Doula, my work typically explores themes of mortality, and the interactions of living and non-living things within the context of the natural world.

I’m very excited to be back at the co-op and can’t wait to get more involved with my community😎
