The results obtained from human studies overwhelmingly support the notion that green tea and tea catechins offer substantial benefits against inflammatory diseases. Similarly, cellular and animal studies have provided compelling evidence for the favorable impact of green tea and EGCG. This consistent body of evidence strongly suggests that green tea acts as an antioxidant, effectively neutralizing reactive oxygen species. Looking for a natural way to enhance your workout routine?

Look no further than matcha green tea! A recent study published in the International Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism found that consuming matcha green tea powder can enhance exercise-induced fat oxidation.

The study, which involved 13 female participants, measured metabolic, physiological, and perceived intensity responses during brisk walking. Participants consumed three drinks made with 1 gram of Matcha premium grade the day before, and one drink 2 hours before a 30-minute walk at either 5 or 6 MET (a measure of exercise intensity).

The results showed that matcha green tea powder had no effect on physiological or perceived intensity responses, but it did lead to lower respiratory exchange ratios and enhanced fat oxidation during the 30-minute brisk walk. This means that the body was able to burn fat more efficiently when consuming matcha green tea powder.

So, if you’re looking to boost your weight loss efforts and improve your workout routine, consider adding matcha green tea to your diet. However, it’s important to note that the effects of matcha should not be overstated, and it should be consumed as part of a balanced diet and exercise program. https://www.thinkmatcha.com
