Zingerman's Bakehouse adds nearly 30 lbs of carrots to each batch of this cake (they add incredible moistness and fresh sweetness), as well as aromatic spices and freshly milled whole grains. It is iced in a traditional cream cheese frosting flavored with fresh lemon juice.

BREAD OF THE MONTH! Paesano from Zingerman's Bakehouse. Hailing from the Puglia region of Italy, Paesano is made with organic wheat flour and organic cornmeal-dusted crust. The dough is extra-hydrated and the yeast has lots of time to work its bubbly magic, resulting in a tender, airy crumb with lots of amazing flavor. Rip it and dip it!

September's SANDWICH OF THE MONTH! This month’s sandwich, Nick’s Opportunity, is coming out of retirement (fans rejoice!) with a slight update! Formerly known as #57 Nic’s Opportunity, we’re riffing on the old favorite with a kick of crunch from the bread choice, so we tweaked the spelling to match!

Fans of the ol’ pizza sandwich, don’t fret - the inside ingredients are all the same! Fresh handmade mozzarella, thinly sliced pepperoni, oven-dried tomato spread, a sprinkle of oregano & a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette! All this deliciousness is sandwiched in the middle of a grilled Paesano roll from Zingerman’s Bakehouse!
