This is Debbie; so yesterday these babies had their 2nd vaccination and their 3rd worming medicine. They are going to be given a preventative antibiotic as they are weened from mommy this week . Mommie's milk has given them a loose potty in the litter box. Some of you have spoken to me about adoption. They were born March 13th and are 10 weeks old. The white blue eye kitty is the smallest weighing in at 1.1lb. Grey and white we call scout as was the 1st to scout her space is 1.9lbs and the black little boy is 2.4lbs. Many years ago Donna and I did a rescue and we are remembering how we adopted babies. We do a verbal or paper application. We are looking for someone with a vet reference. We also ask about other cats and dogs in the home and if someone is looking for an inside cat. These babies were rescued from likely death and we want them to surly be loved for many years. I also have sponsored kittens we rescued for their spay or neuter when they reach 4lbs. They must be spayed or neutered please so I'll pay for this. Pets are a responsibility and should be like a member of the family. They require love attention and sometimes vetting. The owner is their only parent. We ask a $35.00 homing fee because we learned people that invest are more likely to value the little life. Pet ownership is a life investment. As of now we have 3 sets of kittens we are helping. These 3, 2 twin black little girls also almost ready for adoption and 4 newborns yellow and grey. In January I started spaying and neutering cats I feed everyday. The population was a real issue as more and more kittens were being born. I thought this issue would be difficult but not impossible. Now I'm a bit overwhelmed with kittens and mommas. In someway I think God knew this would force me to not lock myself away in mourning but get up and help. Now I could use your help if you want to adopt a baby. I will tell you pets are a comfort. I can't imagine not having mine greet me when I get home. Chloe sits as close as she can to me and feels sadness just like I do as David is no longer here. We help each other smile.
