This here is a monumental moment to protect these old trees. While still very much alive, these trees will receive a major "tree lift" pruning out the dead branches and also releasing a major weight off the tree to the right. This tree has a serious lean over the north gardens. With the weight lifted off of it there is hope that the tree will be stabilized for a few or more years.

Cutting trees down is not my preference but again to maintain growth for years to come on already 100 year old trees but also for the younger trees that are being crowded out by struggling sappy trees.

Trees are such a vital part of our natural ecosystem. Sadly age of trees and their growth in a natural habitat like a generational farm, maintenance and removal becomes a necessity.

A great time at Junk Stock with my friend Kris. Shockingly we made it in and out in about two hours. Loved their theme this spring.
Great weather and then made it back to the farm to do some much needed weedeating. At 8 pm I met our Harvest Host RV Guests. Perfect evening weather to fire up the outdoor fireplace for them to enjoy. They cracked open their bottles of beer and enjoyed.

Fueling up at Lepeep's in Omaha before attending Junk Stock.

Thank you so much for such a great response to our opening at the farm over the last few weeks. We are seeing so many new friends visiting this generational farm. And ofcourse seeing all of you after the cold and dreery months 🥰

I am enjoying the change to open on Fridays and Saturdays rather than the past of Saturdays and Sundays.

I have the flexibility to rest more after a long week of working around the farm. We all need to "rest".

A big hit as always. This time I added the Sicilian Lemon Olive oil to this cake mix. So so moist and soft lemon zest flavor.
