Jamie of Grip N Grub has been on our radar for a long time. It took two years of conversations before she finally applied last season, and we're so glad she did. She's back for 2026 and the wait was absolutely worth it.
Grip n Grub is farm-fresh comfort food done right. Jamie sources locally and intentionally, partnering with producers right here in the valley (including Intergalactic Acres and Salant Family Ranch) to build a menu that's as rooted in this place as it is satisfying. Think bacon egg and cheese, Italian beef sandwiches, tomato cucumber summer salad, and more.
For Jamie, sourcing local is a value, not just a business decision. It's about knowing where your food comes from, supporting the people growing and raising it, and keeping that connection between land and table alive. That shows up in the food and leaves all of us smiling and nourished.
Jamie is also one of our chef demo participants — last season she led a fantastic demonstration on how to cut and cook a whole chicken, and she's scheduled to return on August 5th with something new. Stay tuned for that one.
