Jamie of Grip N Grub has been on our radar for a long time. It took two years of conversations before she finally applied last season, and we're so glad she did. She's back for 2026 and the wait was absolutely worth it.

Grip n Grub is farm-fresh comfort food done right. Jamie sources locally and intentionally, partnering with producers right here in the valley (including Intergalactic Acres and Salant Family Ranch) to build a menu that's as rooted in this place as it is satisfying. Think bacon egg and cheese, Italian beef sandwiches, tomato cucumber summer salad, and more.

For Jamie, sourcing local is a value, not just a business decision. It's about knowing where your food comes from, supporting the people growing and raising it, and keeping that connection between land and table alive. That shows up in the food and leaves all of us smiling and nourished.

Jamie is also one of our chef demo participants — last season she led a fantastic demonstration on how to cut and cook a whole chicken, and she's scheduled to return on August 5th with something new. Stay tuned for that one.

Next week's concert on Wednesday, June 3rd, features Dadweed, a Portland-based acoustic trio.

Reimagining pickin' and thumpin' by blending elements of jazz/folk/pop/R&B within a traditional bluegrass lens, their sets explore a wide variety of styles and dynamics – with a focus on improvisation – showcasing both covers and originals.

We are super stoked to have them make a stop on their 101 tour.
It's sure to be a good time!

Larke Jewelry came to Applegate Evening Market last year as a fill-in and never looked back. And we are so glad they stayed.

Larke is a family owned and operated jewelry design business born from the friendship of two best friends, Britt and Jen, who shared a love for unique beauty and a dream of creating something together. When Jen passed away in October 2024, that dream didn't end. It deepened. Larke became the light through grief, a way to honor a sisterhood and keep something beautiful alive.

Each piece is uniquely handcrafted with intention, designed to reflect the beauty, love, and respect we hold for one another while we're here together on this earth. Wearing Larke means carrying a little of that story with you.

Market day is a family affair for this business built on love and togetherness. Britt and her husband Sean proudly represent alongside their kids who also come out to hang and play. And behind the scenes, Britt is just as thoughtful, communicative, organized, and on top of every detail. That kind of care and reliability is a gift and is not taken for granted.
