We had to travel a little further today to get tomatoes 🍅 but we brought back one hundred pounds. To show our appreciation for you having to wait we are putting them on sale for three dollars a pound Saturday only for the holiday.  1709 S. Summit open Saturday eight to one, but we will be closed on Monday for Labor Day.

Every late summer, the grocery stores trot out those massive, glorious mums in full bloom. And every year, I watch folks load them into their cars, knowing those poor plants will look like dried toast long before Halloween. I killed my fair share of them before I stopped worrying about having the biggest, brightest plant on the block and figured out what actually matters.
