Good Morning it is so gorgeous out. My chickens do not seem to understand that this is winter and eggs production is supposed to drop. Anyone need eggs. $6 if you pick up from farm.

"Heartbreak on the homestead this week. Lost two of our hens to predators - likely fox getting through gaps in the old fencing.
These girls were part of the flock that produces eggs for our community. We need to upgrade to predator-proof fencing to protect the rest of the flock.
If you have extra canning jars (any size - mason, kerr, ball), I'll gladly take them off your hands. I reuse them for honey, freeze-dried eggs, and other products. Each jar helps fund materials for better fencing.
The hens and I would be grateful. Comment or PM if you have jars to donate. Pickup in Missoula or I can arrange collection.
