Thanksgiving pumpkin sweetie pie class was a huge success. 14 kids made a from-scratch pie, crust and all, to take home and share with their families. So proud of these budding chefs!!

Hi friends of Creative Kids Kitchen!
I wanted to let you know that I will be doing some school holiday cooking classes in order to help keep you and your kids sane during school breaks.

The first will be on 11/27 from 10:00-1:00 — a Thanksgiving pie making class. The kids will each make their own from-scratch pie (crust included) to take home for the Thanksgiving holiday, and perhaps even better you will have a glorious 3 hours to yourself for your own holiday prep. Also, I will be serving the kids lunch during the class (also homemade by me) so they will be fed when they return to you. (Yay!) This class is for grades 1-8. Cost is $75

Next up is a holiday cookie-making class on APS early release day (12/11) and on 12/29, I will be holding a pre-New Year’s class where we will make tamales. In Mexico they are a holiday tradition symbolizing family.

About me: I am a Chainbridge Forest-based mom of 3 kids and have been teaching home-based cooking classes since 2012. I am also an endurance athlete and mom of 2 children with celiac disease, so nutrition and allergy-friendly diets are especially close to my heart and wheelhouse. I hope to see your kiddos in my upcoming classes!
