A recall has been issued for certain Similac and Elecare powdered formulas. Products and lot numbers that have been recalled can be found at similacrecall.com. Use of products included in the recall should be discontinued immediately. Products purchased using eWIC benefits can be exchanged at the retailer they were purchased from if the store has formula in stock and you have the receipt. We recommend calling before returning to the store to ensure they have replacements in stock. Otherwise, information for refund or replacement can be requested by calling Similac customer service at 1-800-986-8540. Information on alternatives for out-of-stock and recalled specialty formulas can be found at https://www.springfieldmo.gov/5601/Formula-Recall-Information. Reminder that those with EBT/SNAP benefits can use those to purchase formula if an exchange is not possible at this time.

Terry and Karla Pennington purchased the supermarket on November 8, 1986. Their goal was to provide the freshest products at the lowest price possible and to offer each customer who came through their door a friendly and pleasant shopping experience. Their ultimate goal is to make Penningtons Supermarket your go to market when feeding your family. Ash Grove has not only been their place of business but also their home for the past 33 years. Supporting the local schools and serving Ash Grove and the surrounding areas. Becoming an integral part of this community is something they strive to continue.
