Hello Dulce de Leche lovers!
We are delighted to invite you to our pop-up event this Saturday 9/27, at 🎉
By popular demand, we are excited to bring you our signature sandwich cookies: delicious alfajores! For those who have not yet had the pleasure, they are a must-try.
We will also have our dulce de leche for sale, as well as other special treats.
When: Saturday, September 27th
Time: From 11 AM to 4 PM
Where: East Fork Pottery
This pop-up holds a special place in my heart, as this day marks the anniversary of Helene. I am honored to share this time in community with all of you.
There are many wonderful events happening around town this day, and we hope you can make it to ours!
Here’s a list with a couple of options to help you enjoy a day full of community and gathering:
* 7 AM to 11 AM: Join “Rise & Brunch: It’s a New Day for WNC,” a morning of reflection and connection as we mark the anniversary of Helene and honor the incredible spirit of this region. They’ll be serving hearty breakfast bowls, mimosa flights, bloody marys, and refreshing sunrise spritzers 🍾
* 7:30 AM to 12 PM: For the runners among us, the Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 5k start and finish is at 🏃♀️👟
* 11 AM to 4 PM: Stop by our pop-up at We are just a short walk from Pack Square Park! 💛🍪
* 12 PM to 5 PM: Head over to Pack Square Park for the Blue Ridge Pride Festival 🏳️🌈
* All day: Don’t forget to pass by 💖 they are offering FREE kiddie scoops AKA community scoops all day at all locations 🍦😋
* Later in the evening: Choose from three wonderful events to close out your day:
* Helene Anniversary Community Day at featuring a community potluck and live music 🎵
* The show at at 6 PM 🎤
* Join Sierra Nevada’s Haus Party for authentic German cuisine, and a live set by Concord Brass Band from 6pm to 9:30pm 🍺
