Here's look inside Country Town Pride LLC .
Located at 1221 Cleveland Avenue, this is a completely different store from Ashland Roots - they just liked our space and when we closed, they hopped at the chance to get in...and just LOOK at what they've done with the place!

As many of you know, there are plans to start a consignment / gift shop in the building we are vacating.

Jessica Hall from is calling her new business Country Town Pride LLC , and she plans to open in February.

You may recognize her as one of our vendors - as she regularly sold white bread, rolls, quick breads, cinnamon rolls and other items on our bakery shelves - but her new venture is all her own!

A lot of you have asked what we are going to do with our unsold stock…. well, here's what we're doing:

This coming week prices are slashed!!

Find items for $1, $2, $3, $5, $8, $10!

We also have lots of "garage sale" items from 10 cents and up. Find your treasure!

We still have a few unsold items from the auction, too!

Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm.

We are officially closed for shopping. However, we will still have one or two "make us an offer" shopping days to sell off remaining stock. Keep an eye out for the announcement for those.

January 3rd through 7th:

All people entering the store must wear properly fitted masks over mouth and nose.

Vendors - you may come get your items between 10am and 4pm.

We will be calling the auction winners January 3rd. We will leave messages. You may pay by phone, if it pleases you, or pay in person. We will need payment by January 7th.

January 10th through 14th:

Silent auction winners - you may pick up your winnings this week between 10am and 4pm.

Per CDC guidelines (updated in December 27th media release on their web page), Veronika has isolated for 5 days (26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th) has had no fever and had improving symptoms (31st, 1st, 2nd), so has been able to safely interact with people (both parties wearing properly-fitted masks) since Dec 31.

Oh, no! Despite our best practices and mask requirements, Veronika has tested positive for Covid. It is believed she got it Friday 😞
If you were in our store Friday, we urge you to go get tested, use sanitizing and social distancing, and wear a mask in public to prevent the spread of this nasty bug!

Hello and Merry Christmas from Veronika!

The past eight years have been kind of like a roller coaster ride for me. Some bad things happened during that time, but the store was always there, and with it you - the wonderful people who have been a part of the Ashland Roots Community.

You've laughed with me and cried with me, and I with you, as we shared events and stories, triumphs and hardships with one another, and now that we are closing, I want to thank all of you for the love and support you have shown me personally.

I have made friends for life here and my heart overflows with happiness for it.
