Farmers Market tomorrow - Wed from 8am-11:30. It's seed planting day for the kids that starts at 9am, so bring them out.

Veggies/fruit coming in - tomatoes, onions, potatoes, zucchini, beets, garlic, green beans, carrots, okra. And the fruit - peaches, blackberries, etc. Lots of baked goods, cookies, pickles, relishes, chow chow, jams and jellies of all kinds. Herbal ointments and lotions, bouquets of cut flowers, crocheted items, handmade jewelry, freshies, goat milk cheese, soaps and lotions. And much more.

Chula’S Food Truck LLC will be back with their wonderful authentic mexican food and Dig In, LLC will have chicken,bacon,ranch sandwiches and lemonade,

Wednesday's Kid Activity: Planting seeds with Tubby Creek Farm at 9:00am
Did you know that almost all the vegetables we bring to the farmers market start with just a tiny seed? Kids will learn what seeds need to grow, and plant their very own vegetable seeds in a pot to take home. Kids will also take home a zinnia plant ready to go in the ground or a pot.

Chula's participated in our Market a couple weeks ago. It was a great success for them and our community. They will return this Wednesday, on the square, in Ashland. They are committed to freshly cooked, fast service for all of you that support us and them. So please come get some really great food that's authentic Mexican menu.

Thank you all that came today - it was Dairy Day. The kids got to milk the cow and learn about importance of dairy. Brandi Reese with Farm Bureau passed out ice cream to everyone. More new vendors, the lawn was full.

What's on the menu tomorrow (Wed)? Lots of fresh, locally grown vegetables and fruits. Tomatoes, cabbage, zucchini, squash, green beans beets, kohlrabi, okra....strawberries, peaches, blackberries, the list goes on and on.

Huge variety of baked goods, cakes, pies, cookies, fresh baked breads. Specialty jams and jellies, assortment of pickles, salsa, relishes. Specialty vanilla extracts.

Handcrafted jewlery, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, jewel art, 3D items, freshies. Goat milk cheeses, soaps, lotions. Dig In, LLC will have strawberry lemonade and Italian sandwiches. 2 Fishes Seafood has a wide variety of fish, including trout and shrimp

Just stop in and check us out and it's Dairy Day! Bring the kids!

Tomorrow is DAIRY DAY! Bring the kids to try their hands at milking a cow (faux) and importance of dairy products. They will also receive a gift bag. Starts at 9am.

Also, Brandi with Farm Bureau will be there at 9am to pass out ice cream to everyone (while it last),

SENIOR NUTRITION VOUCHERS - NOTICE

We have just been notified that there are no funds to support this program, new applications or returning applications. The State's funds for this program have been drastically cut this year. Of course, we are saddened by this news because it does help so many 60+ year old folks.
