Getting into summer mode like… maybe we all deserve a little “play hookie and eat ice cream” kind of Monday. 😎☀️
(Not us or the staff of course… we practically live at the funsies park now that ice cream season is here. 🍦😂)

You think summer means free time and then suddenly the calendar fills up faster than a deli line before a holiday weekend. Graduations, cookouts, parties, lake days… but since it’s mostly fun stuff, we’ll allow it. 😅

And speaking of parties… let us help you look way more prepared than you actually are. 😎
Made-to-order deli trays, grab-and-go chunked cheese, chips, dip, sandwich fixings — basically your shortcut to showing up looking organized and impressive.

Also… the beer cave deserves its flowers. 🍺❄️
The second the temperature hit over 40 degrees it clocked in for overtime and has been carrying this neighborhood ever since. Cool packs ready, drinks cold, summer survival mode activated.

It’s getting to be that busy, exciting season again… graduations, weddings, ball games, parties, events, and the “wait what day is it?” calendar shuffle. 🎓💐☀️

So if today happens to be one of those rare Sundays where you DON’T have to run somewhere… we fully support that around here. In fact, we encourage it, neighbors. 😌

The shelves and coolers are stocked with easy dinner fixes, grab-and-go groceries, bread, milk, deli sandwiches, snacks, and all those little things that save you from trekking across town and wandering a giant box store wondering why you came in there in the first place. 😅

We’ve got freshly made deli sandwiches ready to go, simple supper helpers, and of course… ice cream waiting patiently for its moment to shine on your way out. 🍦

Here’s to a relaxing Sunday if today is your day for it. Sit outside. Listen to the birds. Enjoy the sunshine. Be gloriously unproductive for a little while. And when the family starts asking what’s for lunch or dinner… we’re right here in the neighborhood to help make it easy. 🫶

It’s getting to be that busy, exciting season again… graduations, weddings, ball games, parties, events, and the “wait what day is it?” calendar shuffle. 🎓💐☀️

So if today happens to be your magical “we are absolutely not going anywhere” Sunday… oh neighbors… we support that deeply. ✨ In fact, we encourage it, neighbors. 😌

Stay in the comfy clothes.
Sit on the porch.
Listen to the birds gossip.
Let the sunshine hit your face.
Pretend you don’t hear anyone asking what’s for dinner for at least another 20 minutes. ☀️🪴

And when hunger finally wins, the neighborhood market fairy has you covered. 🧺✨

And if you hear a mysterious rumble downtown on Ashland Main Street tomorrow don’t worry…it’s just Touch-A-Truck and not the world ending. 🚚😅

FYI quiet hour is from 10am-11am for anyone who may need a calmer, lower-sensory visit before the full truck honking excitement begins. 💛

Meanwhile…. in our little corner of chaos we’re stocking the deli, making sandwiches, scooping ice cream, and pretending we all absolutely know what day it is.

Congratulations to the Ashland City Schools for another year of learning, growing, chaos coordinating, field trips, forgotten homework, spirit weeks, and helping mold kids into bright futures.

Truly a group effort by teachers, staff, parents, PTO peeps, bus drivers, cafeteria crews, and whoever keeps finding lost hoodies. 👏🎓📚

Now onto the important community discussion…

Is it just me or does today feel like a Friday?

Honestly this week feels like it came with bonus content. Maybe today is Friday with two Saturdays attached. Maybe we already had Friday yesterday and nobody announced it. At this point just pick a reality and commit to it……free will activated🤷‍♀️🤣

The only problem with a long weekend is somehow we all convince ourselves we can fit 9 business days worth of projects into “one extra day off.”

Suddenly you’re:

* organizing the garage
* going camping
* attending graduation parties
* planting flowers
* grocery shopping
* meal prepping
* fixing something random
* and trying to “relax” somewhere in there too

So how do we keep up?

You already know what I’m gonna say 😊::
💧 hydration
☕ caffeine 💯
🥪 food

And just because it’s a convenience store doesn’t mean everything has to be “bad.” Moderation is key….except with ice cream.
