Family run apple orchard with retail market, cider mill, vineyard, and bakery. A local favorite open from August until Thanksgiving.

Every fall Brant's Apple Orchard opens its doors and sells 27 different varieties of apples, 6 varieties of table grapes, asian pears, and other treats in our market area. Homemade cider donuts are made daily along with many other bakery items.

Congratulations to our Brant’s Apple Orchard Youth Scholarship recipient’s.

Both students graduated from Jefferson Area High School.

Danielle Furman (picture provided) will be attending the University of Mount Union majoring in Occupational Therapy.

Natalee Schor (picture not provided) is considering Walsh University also interested in Occupational Therapy.

Congratulations and best of luck to all the Ashtabula County graduates.

Wild storm last night! Looks like we will be selling some seconds this year - Hail got some of the crop. 😡

Fortunately it doesn’t seem like it lasted too long so the damage is minimal. .

Between the spring freezes and now hail, this year has been….exciting? !

Celebrated a graduation party today for one of our dedicated employees. Where did he choose to have his party? At Brant’s Apple Orchard of course!

The renters at Orchard View Villas had a beautiful weekend stay on our property.

Fruit looks good despite some weather scares earlier in the season. Apples and grapes are plentiful. Asian pears are a little sparse but we will have some.

CONFESSION TIME!
We are NOT moving to Jefferson! April Fools! But read on - two things were true in that post…

We DID invest in a downtown Jefferson building with the intent on revitalizing the town. We hate to see property owners sit on empty buildings in commercial districts so our off season free time was set on remodeling the space at 44 N Chestnut. It will be available for lease soon and we will be seeking a visionary entrepreneur with a business that enhances the town.

Secondly the Jefferson Imagination Village Accessible Playground construction is in progress at Memorial Field. This will provide a truly epic place for children of all abilities to play. The playground is made possible through a $500k donation from Civic Development Corporation and a partnership with the Village of Jefferson. We have committed $30,000 toward the project and it’s something we really believe in.

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!
For 2026 we will be moving our operation to the Village of Jefferson. Using new hydroponic technology, apple trees will be moving INDOORS to help occupy some of the empty downtown buildings! Attached is a picture of the newly remodeled 44 N Chestnut with trees ready for picking!

All outdoor activities will be moved to Memorial Field to compliment the Jefferson Imagination Village Playground currently under construction (in partnership with Civic Development Corporation) A small orchard will be planted there for apple picking, Instagram photos, and general aesthetic.

We’re super excited to announce this next step for Brant’s, Jefferson, and Ashtabula County!

A little throwback today. The panorama is taken from the north side of the pond. From this view, the current market would be under the porch and the bakery is non-existent. The Brants started building their vision in the early 90’s, starting with a cooler in what is now the center of the building and selling apples out of their garage. Props to them for the vision to plant all the trees in the picnic area too and creating such a wonderful family environment! Just a few changes in the last 35 years!
