"Providing quality food" and "cooking from the heart" is what Carmella describes as her secret to the success she's had with Carmella's kitchen. That same philosophy is how Leonard Labriola describes the values that his parents instilled in him and that stand behind the 95 years of success for Labriola Italian Markets. These two families are partnering to present Labriola Winery at La Tavola on Thursday June 4th for a wine tasting dinner. This will bring the high quality food of La Tavola and wines of Labriola Winery and Il Borro Wines to present this 5-course experience. There are those times that you run into great people and connect on business and life and a shared love of top quality wine. It's been a pleasure to meet Salvatore Ferragamo and Francesco Pineider through Medici Importers. Labriolas Winery and Il Borro saw the opportunity to work together to expand the access to Il Borro Wines at our retail locations throughout Pittsburgh. This project, three years in the making, will launch this summer. To kick off the retail sales, Labriolas will be adding selected il Borro Wines to our wine dinners around Pittsburgh.
