Sales always slow down in May. Honestly after record setting months of March and April, it’s a welcome relief. Farm demands pick up as we start planting and making hay, so I have less time for the creamery anyway. I will only be making chocolate milk for the foreseeable future. I know you will continue to ask for your favorite flavors, and that’s ok. I’ll get around to them when there is a window, and I think there is enough demand. Fresh batch of chocolate is hitting the coolers today.

Last call for vanilla mint! I have a little bit left here and the store, and there is some at Ammermans Store. Sell by today. It will be a few months before I come back to this flavor.

Been a little quiet on here this week. I had to send my pasteurizer out for a repair on Tuesday. It was nothing that affected milk quality or performance, but a bad seal around a port of the water jacket that was not simple to replace. Anywho, she’s back where she belongs, and I will be running chocolate milk tomorrow. It will be ready by 1:00 here, and at Ammermans Store by 2:30.

We are super excited to now be offering ice cream from The Creamery at Fairview Farm LLC!!! Locally made in small batches in Granville Summit, believe me when I say this is amazing ice cream. It’s the kind where you take a bite, then nod your head and say yum as you spin the container around looking for the magic ingredient for why it’s so good! We have 6 flavors right now, but will be adding many more as the remaining Mannings ice cream sells down and we have more freezer space. $5.50 a pint, $8.50 a quart. Give it a try and see just how amazing it is!
