Good news! There are several new items in the market. Even better news! Starting today, the market will be open until 8pm. That means you can pop by in the evening to stock up on recent arrivals like Aardvark Hot Sauces, Masienda Masa, mustards and curry ketchup from Schaller and Weber, and loads of other fabulous foods. Whether you want to shop on a full stomach or when you’re hungry, be sure to check out our dinner menu before or after perusing our shelves and fridges. That’s the pro’s way to Dovetail.

We are once again partnering with our neighbors The Lark 5 distinct cheese styles paired with 5 complimentary wines. If you attended our classes earlier in the year, do know this is a whole new round of cheese styles with all new wines partners! Come and get it! Nothing says Happy 250th like meat and cheese. Oh, and there will be hot dogs. Because ‘Murica.

No need to have snack anxiety on the 4th, pre-order your holiday cheese & meat trays from us! Pre-orders will be available for pickup on Saturday 07/04 between 11am-3pm, just send requests via email ( [email protected]) or give us a call: (706) 521-8204, and we’ll take it from there.  Our standard to-go spread is beautifully presented on a disposable tray and includes five cheeses and/or meats, Marcona almonds, dried fruit, preserves, olives, pickles, and artisan crackers for serving. Standard platters are $125 and suitable for 8-12 people. 
Do you have a special board or platter that you’d like us to use to build out your selection? No problem! Just let us how many people you want to feed ($15 per per person) and drop your board off by Friday 7/3 at 4pm for pickup on Saturday.

Sneak Peak Shopping Alert 👀 🚨
We are getting SO close to an official opening date. But orders are still rolling in, our team is still learning the ropes, and we are putting all the finishing touches together. That said, with the long weekend upon us, we thought our neighbors may need some tasty provisions for backyard hangs and lake parties. So we are hosting preview shopping hours today, Friday 05/22 (2pm-6pm) & Saturday 05/23 (10am-6pm). Come say hey, see our progress, and pick up some quality meats, cheeses, and other market items.
PLEASE NOTE:
For this special preview weekend,
We will NOT have sandwiches or any other made to order lunch, dinner, or beverage items this weekend, nor any fresh produce for sale. These will roll out with our official opening!
We WILL have cut to order cheese and charcuterie, as well as fresh baguettes.
The shelves and coolers are filling up nicely, but we have more items arriving literally as we type this! If there is something you don’t see that you want, just let us know! It just might be in a box waiting to be put out.
We will be closed Sunday, and then opening at 12pm on Memorial Day Monday for our special hot dog popup with our neighbors .

First post! First class! In anticipation of our opening this spring, we are partnering with our neighbors for an exploration of the magic that is pairing cheese with wine. Tuesday, March 10th we are tasting and talking about 5 distinct cheese styles paired with 5 classic wines. Lots of knowledge from our own Fritz Gibson and Krista Slater of The Lark.
