We’ve been quiet at the farm and on Facebook these last couple months, the truth is we had an amazing spring and early summer production on the farm, at the farmers markets Good Local Markets, Athens, Tx Farmers Market you guys showed up for us. Thru other outlets like Rooted: ETX Local Goods + Market you guys showed up for us. This season was truly amazing for us!!

We decided it was best to rest the ground this fall from a fall garden.

We thank everyone who choose to shop with us and to give our small farm your business.

With that being said we have shifted back into gear and the last Two long labor intense days we spent planting our 2027 strawberry🍓 crop.

All 20,000 of our strawberries have been planted in the ground, did I mention all by hand at that!!

We have increased our production by 7,000 plants for 2027 season, the goal is to be open longer periods and have plenty of berries for picking.

The drip water system is running full force, as well as our sprinkler pumping water over head to get these little baby berries rooted and off to a great start for this coming strawberry season in 2027.

Thank you from us at highway 19 produce, you guys have been amazing to us.

Please like and share our journey this season as we have some other exciting things coming along to add into our 2027 you pick season!!

IT IS NOT JUST FOR CHIPS-

A few of my favorite healthy combinations are:

* Cucumber rounds + salsa for a cool, refreshing snack.
* Bell pepper strips + salsa for a naturally sweet, crunchy bite.
* Cottage cheese + salsa for a filling, high-protein lunch.
* Baked sweet potato + black beans + salsa for a hearty, nutritious meal.
* Grilled chicken + fresh salsa for an easy, flavorful dinner.

Salsa is one of the healthiest condiments around—it’s packed with tomatoes, peppers, onions, and herbs while being low in calories. There are lots of delicious alternatives to tortilla chips that let the salsa shine.

Join us Saturday for both the Good Local Market Dallas and Athens Farmers Market downtown Good Local MarketsAthens, Tx Farmers Market
