As we wrap up the spring garden program for the Headstart kids we wanted send a little update from our Molino site. The kitchen staff helped harvest and the littles got to enjoy seeing the fruit of their labor. It's making a difference in the community as parents, staff, teachers get fresh veggies and a bouquet of flowers. CAPC

The kids and Brigadier Headstart CAPC had a blast harvesting this 5 pound zucchini. They all wanted to lift it :-) Yes the zucchini do hide. Buttercrunch letttuce, kale, yellow squash, zucchini, cucumbers, carrots and a bouquet of flowers. They seed started helped plant all this abundance. Great learning experience.
