Converting our previous coop into a brooder/seedling house. This year we are going for pastured raised broilers and laying hens. The broilers have had access to the outside in the past but this time we are going to use chicken tractors so we can move them and try to keep them cleaner. In the past it was daily bedding but this may prove to be healthier and less expensive. They love sitting in tall grass.
