It may be raining, but it’s nice and dry inside our greenhouses!

This Memorial Day weekend is a great time to stop out and shop a great selection! We have bedding plants, accent plants, vegetable plants, a HUGE selection of hanging baskets, and even fresh asparagus!

Open today (Saturday) 10 am - 5 pm and tomorrow (Sunday) 10 am - 2 pm. We will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day!

🎉Opening TOMORROW morning at 9 AM!!

We have a great selection of hanging baskets, bedding plants, and accent plants. We also have some of our more cold tolerant veggie plants (more to come as it warms up a bit).

Inside you find: leaf lettuce, radishes, chicken eggs, turkey eggs, sourdough pancake mix, oatmeal raisin cookies, chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies, sourdough bread, seed potatoes, and lots of hand crafted goodies.

Happy Earth Day! Today we would like to thank all of our customers who support us and the Earth by shopping local.

Here are a few of the ways that shopping with us (as well as with other small local businesses) is Earth healthy and promotes sustainability:

🌱Reduction of “Food Miles” - Everything we sell is grown and produced locally. This produces a significantly reduced amount of carbon emissions as compared to those associated with the shipping distances that products travel to your local “big box” store.

🌱Eco- Friendly Packaging - Products purchased from us typically contain less plastic packaging than those same products purchased from a grocery store. Also, items such as plastic trays, flower pots, and more are re-used whenever possible in order to reduce plastic waste year after year.

🌱Regenerative Farming Practices - On our farm we use many regenerative farming practices. Organic food waste is fed to livestock in order to reduce waste. Any organic waste that cannot be fed to livestock is composted. Compost and livestock manure are then used as organic fertilizer for our crops. Additionally, we use crop rotation in order to keep our ground nutritionally rich and harness the natural ability of legumes to release nitrogen back into the soil.

🌱Reduction of Food Waste - As mentioned above, organic food waste is fed to livestock and/or composted. This is one way we reduce food waste. However, it is not the only way we combat the problem. Any unsold food items are also regularly donated to food pantries and soup kitchens, and “ugly” produce is sold as “seconds” at a discounted rate — rather than becoming waste.

After many requests, I finally started making sourdough bread part of the way through last year. But, I have spent my downtime this winter honing in my skills and learning more about sourdough and all of the possibilities.

We are hoping to add some of these new goodies to our selection of sweet treats this year! 🥯🍞🍪

Our greenhouses have been bursting at the seems, so it’s almost time to open for the Spring! This year you will find a great selection of hanging baskets, combination pots, vegetable plants, herbs, bedding plants, accent plants, and more inside our greenhouses.

Step into our farm store, and you can browse an even greater selection. We will have fresh baked bread, rolls, pizza crusts, cookies, sourdough goodies, and more — in addition to seed potatoes, hand crafted items, and more.

Beginning Wednesday, April 29th our hours will be as follows:
