I just wanted to let you all know that we can feel your prayers. Our son Mack was in an accident at work and is at Akron Children's Hospital. He has a very long road of healing ahead.

Now is a great time to get your hardy mums planted so they have plenty of time to establish their roots before winter. With a little care this fall, you can give your mums their best chance of returning beautifully next spring!

Our Hardy Mum Planting Tips:
• Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil.
• Plant your mum in the ground as soon as possible—the earlier it gets established, the better!
• Dig the hole slightly wider than the root ball and plant at the same depth it was growing in the pot.
• Water thoroughly after planting and continue watering regularly while the roots become established.
• After the first hard frost, cut the plant back.
• Cover the plant with a good layer of mulch or leaves to help protect the roots through the winter.
• When spring arrives, remove the extra covering and watch for new growth!

🍎 We happened to be in the right place at the right time yesterday. Our friends at Manfull Orchard had a batch of their freshly pressed c***r ready to go. So why not start our c***r drinks now.

*Peach Update*
At the moment, we have July Prince and PF19 peaches. Both are an excellent freestone variety that's perfect for canning, freezing, baking, or enjoying fresh. Please note that these peaches are not from our own orchard—they are sourced from other orchards. We suffered the loss of our crop due to the late frost.

We expect to have peaches available through next week, but that will likely mark the end of the peach season. If you've been planning to preserve peaches or simply enjoy some fresh fruit, now is the time.

Peaches are available by the bushel, peck, half peck, and quart at the market.

Some years remind us just how hard life as farmers truly is!

Unfortunately, our peach crop was frozen this spring, so we won't have our own homegrown peaches this season. While that is disappointing for our family, we're thankful to be able to offer beautiful July Prince peaches from another grower so you can still enjoy a delicious summer favorite.

These peaches are freestone, wonderfully juicy, and perfect for fresh eating, baking, canning, or freezing.

We are incredibly grateful for the support you've shown our family farm through every season, especially the challenging ones. Your decision to shop local truly helps sustain our farm, and we never take that for granted. Thank you for continuing to choose Manfull Orchard.
