We sure are lucky to be almost at the highest point in Dearborn County. It makes for some of the most beautiful sunsets out at the farm.

Stop by this weekend for:
• Bell peppers
• Jalapeños
• Banana peppers
• Cucumbers (the white Itatchi variety is less bitter and extra crisp!)
• Eggplant
• Onions

We’re in a little lull with our sweet corn this week, a result of the overly rainy weather that kept Wayne from planting when he needed to. Hopefully, with a break in this hot weather, our tomatoes should start ripening soon!

It hasn’t been the easiest growing season with the heat and rain, but we are so grateful for each of you who make the trip to the farm stand to support our farm.

We’ve also got a few more cantaloupes coming in from the field! Let us know what you think of the Sugar Cubes and the larger melons this season. 🍈

And a quick update: Kate and Margaret will no longer be at the Lawrenceburg Farmers Market. As some of you may know, Kate recently opened a little health food spot in downtown Lawrenceburg called Nourish Kitchen + Market. You’ll still be able to find our farm-fresh produce on her shelves there throughout the week and on Saturdays 9-1pm. She’s just a block away from the market!

Enjoy this beautiful weather and make stop out to the Big Apple to stock up on local produce! Wayne just picked 90 dozen of sweet corn out of the field this morning (before the birds could get to it).

• cucumbers

Wayne’s been hustling all week to keep corn stocked in the cooler. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by to grab some for the 4th of July!

The patch we’re picking from right now is producing smaller ears, but hang tight, the normal sized ones will be back in just a few days!

Swing by the farmstand this weekend to stock up on fresh produce:
• Sweet corn
• Banana peppers
• Eggplant
• Candy onions
• Jalapeños
• Zucchini
• Cucumbers
• Cabbage

And if you’re lucky, you might spot a random bag or two of tomatoes. They’re not loving this heat, so you might see some yellow shoulders. Just slice the top off and trust us, they’ll still taste better than anything from the store. 😉

Catch us at the Lawrenceburg Farmers Market tomorrow, Saturday, from 9 AM–1 PM.
