What is potassium bromate and why has it been banned in certain countries? Bromate is a popular commercial dough conditioner that has been added to many flours. It’s been linked to kidney diseases, though the amount at which it causes harm is up for debate. From the start, we chose King Arthur flour because it does not contain bromate nor is it bleached. 🍕❤️

For the best, crispiest crust be sure to cook your pizza on the oven rack. This one is La Texana: organic tomato sauce, mozzarella, chorizo with chipotle en adobo, red onion and poblano. If you’re feeling adventurous, add sliced avocado, treat it like a taco! 🍕❤️🥑🌮

La Texana: house made chorizo with chipotle adobo, organic tomato sauce, mozzarella, red onion and poblano 🤠 La TX was discontinued at HEB, but is now available at a few Central Market locations: Austin N Lamar, Dallas Lovers Lane and Fort Worth! If you would like your store to carry it, you’ll need to request it. In Austin you can find TX at Wheatsville, Fresh Plus, Royal Blue, Fin’s First and other bodegas. Yes! We smoke our own mozzarella 😋 We use applewood to impart a good smoky flavor without developing any acrid qualities. Applewood is used because mozzarella is a mild cheese and is overpowered by stronger wood flavors like hickory and oak. Our smoked mozz is used on the Godmother and Cheese Me pizzas. The brand of wood pellet we use is Traeger. 🍕❤️
