Our beautiful baby girl started third grade last week. We couldn’t be more proud… during this time of year, we’re gearing up for one of the biggest parts of our harvest season. During many of our long days, our three children go from school, right into the field with us. Many children would not be able to handle this. At 8 years old I give her a lot of credit because she has truly come to embrace not only our harvest season but wanting to get her hands dirty as well.

In the spring her and I ventured out to the vegetables on one of our Farms and bordered the edge in 🌻 sunflowers. When I took her out after the second day of school last week. She was so excited and couldn’t believe her eyes. She gave me that knowing look and I pulled out my picking shears and this is what we came home with! 

Children make the world go round, never deny them the chance to get their hands a little dirty!

Sweet banana peppers, Hungarian hot wax and Cayenne peppers! Hot Portugal, red hot Cherry, Retsof, Giant Marconi, and even Pepperoncini! So many great options to can and pickle. Send us a message if you’re looking to start canning. We also have Green Bell peppers are in the stand now and red/yellow/orange peppers will be ready very soon!

We also have a salad variety of tomatoes that so perfect for stuffing or just cutting up!
