Curious about kayaking? Join us at Wellington Reservation for a beginner-friendly paddling experience designed to help you build confidence on the water. Learn the basics of kayaking and water safety as we explore the calm reservoir together.

Single and tandem kayaks will be available, making this a great opportunity for families to paddle side-by-side. Participants can also choose to take part in an optional kayak capsize recovery lesson and practice safely reentering a kayak in the water.

Kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and whistles are provided. Just bring water, sun protection, and clothes you don’t mind getting a little wet.

The Miller Butterfly House opens for the season on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 21. Step into a living garden experience where butterflies move freely around you as you explore their world. Learn about the full life cycle from caterpillar to butterfly and discover which plants help attract them to your own backyard garden.

Admission for the Butterfly House is $2. Hours: Daily, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. (weather permitting)
