Yesterday at Ely Harvest Moon Festival I fell in love with the products displayed at Minnesota Chicks stand! They had lots of great "up north" style clothing but I especially loved these cross-body bags! The vendor running the stand gave us some great history and background behind the business based out of Rochester by way of Alaska. So go check out their page and give them a like and follow.
Ps, since it was my birthday week, the pine tree designed one made it's way home with me. I was torn between that one and the mushroom or white bear designs. It was a tough decision.

Such a gorgeous morning at Ely Harvest Moon Festival
I was honored to be asked by to judge the booths and vendors. I love a good craft/art show but looking at it from a judge view was a pretty awesome experience. Thanks Kristen!
I kept telling the vendors "I'll be back as a consumer just as soon as I do my due diligence" 😅 and I totally found some treasures!
Also if you haven't had a gyro at the OG stand~do it! I look forward to them every year! Also my sidekick found a sidekick. 🦋

The correct guess was 60! I have made just over 60 cases of ALL 👏 THE 👏 THINGS this summer.
60 cases is 720 jars of:
🫐 starting seeds, growing a garden, weeding, watering, feeding and talking to my plants
🥒picking & harvesting, foraging or sourcing
🍅prepping, washing, cutting, peeling, dicing, slicing
🍎creating recipes, new flavor combinations
🫜using tried, true and borrowed recipes
🌽brining, boiling, fermenting, pickling
🧅sterilizing and canning
🫛cooling, labeling, boxing, carrying and selling
🍽🍴🥄🔪washing ALL the dishes🤣

And through every moment it took, it has brought me PURE joy. I live for the smiles my jars have brought others, the returning customers that have turned into friends and a simple sense of accomplishment.

Canning season is not over yet, the garden is still producing and let's not pretend I don't have gallon size bags of fruit and veggies put up in the freezer. Those will have to wait until I get a 'round tuit. 😉
