I don’t even know how they chewed them up this bad
side shift attachment fell off the carriage because the retaining brackets on the bottom were nonexistent. Really want to know how nobody noticed an awful grinding noise. Took out the sideshift cylinder and hoses with it.. Expensive day for this customer lol.

What a day!
So apparently while I was on vacation 2 floor employees got into a dispute that ended in a jousting match between thats 2 crown rm6000s... I spent the last 12 hours stripping and laying them down. The one the broke mast frame knocked the other one over on the floor had to stand it up and cut the mast up to get it to collapse to get it into the shop. No word on conditions yet but someone went to the hospital apparently. Way to kick the week off lol

Stay in school kids
3 days and a combination of die grinders and custom tooled roach bits finally have the wheel off to actually start the repair. Axle seal and inner bearing seal let go and coated/leaked oil onto everything. Otherwise I would have just torched everything off. Customer delayed the repair the entire winter so every stud had broken free and the rim prevented being able to grab or weld the back side. Now I can remove the hub, dump about 80l of oil and wait a week for parts to arrive.

Just wanted to say thank you.
A few months ago I asked if it was a smart move to go from working on skid steers like bobcats and kubotas to working on Raymond forklifts. There was an overall vote on yes it’s a smart move. Well boys you were right. Over 3 months in and this was the right move for me. Thank you
